We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Head of Landscape Infrastructure to lead our maintenance needs and ensure the continued excellence of our facilities and grounds.

Job Description:

As the Head of Grounds Maintenance at Wagonhound Land and Livestock, you will be responsible for ensuring the upkeep, functionality, and aesthetic appeal of our diverse landscapes and associated infrastructure. You will work closely with the management team to preserve and enhance the natural beauty of our properties while ensuring the durability and functionality of essential infrastructure. This includes, but is not limited to, varied systems surrounding primary homes, guest facilities, ranch buildings, and reservoirs.

Key Responsibilities:

      1. Team Leadership:

Build, lead, mentor, and manage a team of maintenance technicians and specialists.
Establish and maintain a positive and productive work environment.
Schedule, assign and complete tasks alongside team members, ensuring timely completion of projects.

      2. Infrastructure Maintenance:

Execute the maintenance and repair of irrigation and utility systems.
Conduct regular inspections to identify and address maintenance needs.
Develop and implement preventative maintenance programs.
Stay current with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices.
Coordinate equipment servicing, repairs, and replacement as needed.
Provide technical guidance and solutions for complex system designs and issues.

      3. Landscape Maintenance:

Manage tree care, turf, planting, and ornamental features to enhance the overall aesthetics of the property.

      4. Budget Management:

Develop and manage budgets for landscaping infrastructure, including cost estimation, resource allocation, and financial reporting.
Monitor expenses and implement cost-saving measures where applicable.
Work closely with the management team to align maintenance goals with overall ranch objectives.

      5. Vendor Relations:

Collaborate with external contractors and service providers for specialized maintenance tasks.
Negotiate contracts, review service agreements, and ensure quality workmanship.

      6. Compliance and Safety:

Maintain compliance with all relevant safety regulations and industry standards.
Ensure all systems adhere to local, national, and international codes, standards, and safety regulations.
Investigate and report any safety incidents or accidents.

      7. Documentation and Reporting:

Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including equipment maintenance histories.
Maintain accurate and organized project documentation, including schematics, plans, specifications, and reports.
Provide regular reports to management on maintenance progress and expenditures.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in landscape management, horticulture, or a related field is preferred.
5 years of relevant experience, with a proven track record of leadership and project management.
Strong knowledge of landscaping techniques, equipment operation, and infrastructure maintenance.
Knowledge of maintenance best practices, equipment, and tools.
Budget management experience.
Strong leadership and team management skills.
Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities.
Familiarity with safety regulations and compliance.
Effective communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively.

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Head of Electrical and HVAC Systems to lead our maintenance needs and ensure the continued excellence of our facilities and equipment.

Job Description:

We are looking for a talented and experienced Head of Facilities Maintenance. As the Head of Facilities Maintenance, you will be responsible for overseeing the design, installation, maintenance, and optimization of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, carpentry and other building needs over the entire property including primary homes, guest residences, agricultural buildings, and recreational facilities.

Key Responsibilities:

      1. Team Leadership:

Budget management experience.
Proven experience in maintenance management, preferably in a ranching or agricultural setting.
Strong leadership and team management skills.
Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities.
