Wagonhound continues to strive to be one of the finest, large, commercial Red Angus producers in the market.  Our foundation herd of 2000 head are selected and managed to produce high quality replacement heifers and the highest grade beef.  Our replacement stock comes within our breeding program and is supported by using the finest bulls available.

Our calving period begins each May to avoid Wyoming’s typical harsh calving periods.  In doing so, our cattle are raised from inception in a stress-free environment through each stage of their lives.  Following weaning in November, our calves are relocated to our River Feedlot where we back ground them on a growing ration with plans for spring and summer grazing in Wagonhound’s cool lush mountain pastures.

To maintain our stress-free environment, our five state-of-the-art working cattle facilities are strategically placed with indoor processing buildings and equipment along with scales and loading chutes. Our scales are inspected and certified annually to ensure timely and accurate weighing at point of sale.

We offer our yearlings and commercial bred heifers both through private treaty and by video auction each year.
